Blogging with Sixth Graders
I am about to start blogging with my sixth graders. One of the challenges I have is grading their responses to each other. Truthfully, some of the posts leave nothing to respond to, so how do you mandate a response? I'm just starting this blog in my classroom, so I'm going for extra credit. Here's my rubric. What are your thoughts? I'm also rewarding groups who have full participation the opportunity to eat popcorn while reading. Let's see how this goes.
